Terms of Use

Last updated · May 11, 2026

These terms describe what you can expect from Riti and what we expect from the households and partners who use it. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

Riti is a software product operated by the Riti team out of Chennai, India. Wherever “we”, “us”, or “Riti” appears in these terms, it refers to that operating entity.

2. Your account

You can use Riti as an individual or as the named representative of a household. You must be at least 18 years old, give us accurate information, and keep your phone number, email, and password reasonably secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

A family pass binds up to four members of the same household. The person who pays is the primary account holder. Sharing access outside your household is not permitted.

3. What Riti is, and isn't

Riti is a tool to plan, run, and remember family events — to track guests, shagun, vendors, budgets, RSVPs, memories, and the rituals that hold them together. We are a software service, not an event planner, a wedding hall, or a vendor.

Listings, recommendations, and reviews on Riti are aggregated from partners and users. We try to keep them accurate, but we don't guarantee the work of any third party.

4. Acceptable use

Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. Don't use Riti to spam, scam, scrape, reverse engineer the app, or impersonate someone. We may suspend any account that puts other families or partners at risk.

5. Plans and payments

We offer two family passes (3-year and lifelong, both paid once) and two partner plans (Promote and Featured, billed monthly). All prices are in Indian rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless noted. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we don't store your full card details.

Family pass purchases are non-refundable after seven days of first use. Partner plans can be cancelled at any time; they stop billing from the next cycle and stay active until then. Vouchers and partner-issued codes can reduce or waive the price, but they don't extend refund windows. The full breakdown — including the cooling-off period and how to request a refund — lives on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

6. Your data and your content

The guests, gifts, vendors, photographs, and notes you put into Riti belong to your household. We hold them so we can give them back to you, export them, and make them useful across events. We do not sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.

Our handling of personal information is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

7. Partner relationships

When you book a vendor through Riti, that booking is between you and the vendor directly. We facilitate discovery, chat, and payment receipts where applicable, but we are not a party to the service contract. Disputes with a partner should be raised with the partner first; we can help mediate when you write to us.

8. Service availability

We try to keep Riti available all the time, but we don't promise zero downtime. We may pause access for maintenance, security fixes, or changes that improve the product. We'll give notice inside the app or by email when we can.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Riti's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses — missed opportunities, lost weddings, lost data caused by third-party outages, and the like.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we'll let you know inside the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Riti after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be heard by the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
